Here is a summary of the engineering continuing education requirements mandated by the New Hampshire Board of Professional Engineers. Continuing Education or PDH is known as Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in New Hampshire.

Renewal period | Last day of the licensee's birthday and the year license was issued. If the license was issued in odd number years it would renew every two years on odd number years. If the license was issued in even number years, it would renew every two years on even number years. |
Provider approval | The Board does not pre-approve course providers. |
Course content approval | Any program with a clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee's field of practice. Subject matter which is technical in nature or addresses business management practices, professional ethics, quality assurance, codes or other similar topics which facilitate the licensee's professional development as a professional engineer and serves to safeguard life, health and property and promote the public welfare. At least 2 PDH in Ethics must be taken by engineers every 3 renewal period . |

Online courses | Accepted, there is no limit on the number of online courses taken. |
